About the Publications Committee

The Publications Committee is chaired by the co-editors of the society's primary publication, the Journal of Gynecologic Oncology Nursing (JOGON). Primary committee responsibilities revolve around the following:

1. Develop and distribute a journal for the SGNO, the Journal of Gynecologic Oncology Nursing (JOGON)
   
2. Facilitate an awareness of nationwide educational opportunities and programs through the Journal.
   
3. Facilitate the publication of the organization's textbook:
   
   • Women & Cancer:  A Gynecologic Oncology Nursing Perspective
     
   • Pocket Guide for Women & Cancer:  A Gynecologic Oncology Nursing Perspective
     
4. Conduct the editorial responsibilities for the textbook as requested by the publisher.
   
5. Provide the editorial review of professional and patient education materials developed by the organization.
   
6. Identify opportunities to produce and publish additional educational materials.
